Job Description
Join our team as a Chemical Plant Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our specialty chemicals plant. You will work with powdered chemicals used in the polymer-making process, contributing to the production of plastics and waste water treatment solutions. This position requires working at elevated heights and consistent movement between four levels of the facility.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safe, environmentally sound, and efficient operation of the chemicals' plants, including utilities, bulk storage, and warehouse.Operate plant machinery and equipment, perform repetitive tasks, and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.Open and close valves, monitor instrumentation panels, and report findings from gauges.Dump 10-kilo bags into containers, utilize basic math skills, and track and monitor plant data.Climb ladders and operate forklifts, performing manual duties involving lifting up to 50 lbs.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation, mechanical equipment handling, and troubleshooting.Ability to perform chemical or batch mixing, chemical processing, batching, calibration, blending, and chemical handling.Experience in general production, process manufacturing, and safety procedures.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
