**Job Title: Production Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for using precise processes and tools to set up molds in a variety of machines, ensuring seamless production operations. You'll print work orders, view the production schedule, manage mold cycles, troubleshoot equipment failures, and perform preventive maintenance. Your role will require responding promptly to machine alarms and reporting any irregularities, such as high scrap rates, to the Team Lead or Lead Tech.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up molds in various machines using precise processes and tools.
+ Print work orders and view the production schedule.
+ Manage mold cycles efficiently.
+ Troubleshoot basic equipment failures.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on equipment for upcoming work orders.
+ Respond to machine alarms promptly.
+ Report any irregularities, such as high scrap rates, to the Team Lead or Lead Tech.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience operating injection mold machines or automotive/mechanical assembly.
+ 1+ year of machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance work.
+ 1+ year of experience in injection mold setup, setting molds in machines, and running first articles.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in operation, assembly, and machine operation.
+ Familiarity with clean room environments and medical assembly processes.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled facility recently expanded to double its space. The environment is welcoming, requiring contractors to gown up with booties, masks, and safety glasses. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts with a pattern of 2 days working, 2 days off, and 3 days working, offering every other weekend off. Shift differentials include additional pay for A/B and B/D shifts, as well as 2nd and 3rd shifts.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BALDWIN, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $38.00/hr.
