Job Description

The Production Technician will work in a light cleanroom setting, requiring lab coats, hair nets, and safety goggles. The technician will be responsible for operating the 'Flex' machine, which is the most complex machine in the facility, used to produce testing kits for various industries. This role involves handling rolls of plastic film, weighing 40-50 lbs, and overseeing the laser machine operations that cut and stack films to create multi-layered testing kits.

Responsibilities:Operate and troubleshoot the 'Flex' laser machine.Load rolls of plastic film onto the machine and oversee cutting and stacking processes.Ensure precise alignment of 13 layers of film in the final product.Utilize two computer monitors to manage machine settings and vision system cameras.Identify misalignments and troubleshoot machine issues independently before seeking maintenance support.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.75/hr.
