**Job Title: Production Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Production Technician, where you will work in a light cleanroom environment, equipped with a lab coat, hair net, and safety goggles. You will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting the 'Flex' machine, a complex laser machine that plays a crucial role in creating testing kits for various industries. **Responsibilities** + Operate and manage the 'Flex' laser machine, ensuring precise cutting and stacking of plastic film layers. + Load rolls of plastic film weighing 40-50lbs onto the machine. + Utilize two computer monitors to operate and troubleshoot machine settings and the Vision System. + Ensure alignment of the machine's X, Y, Z axis directions and monitor the Vision System for accurate laser positioning. + Troubleshoot machine issues independently before engaging the maintenance team if necessary. + Maintain high attention to detail to ensure all 13 layers of film are correctly aligned. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in machine operation and troubleshooting. + Proficiency in using Vision Systems. + Ability to work independently with strong mechanical inclination. + High attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in roll forming from printing companies. + Mechanical aptitude. + No blueprint reading required. **Why Work Here?** Experience excellent benefits effective upon hire, including profit sharing bonuses and 401k matching at 100% vested immediately. The facility operates with shifts: 1st shift has 15-20 people, 2nd shift has 5 people, and 3rd shift has 3-4 people. Dress code includes lab coats and hair nets, but it is not a full cleanroom. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.75/hr.
