Our client, a manufacturing leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Production Technician – Laser & Assembly to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting laser marking and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Production Technician – Laser & Assembly
**Location: Mebane, NC**
**Pay Range: $18-20**
**Shift:1st**
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up, operate, and maintain laser marker equipment according to specifications and drawings
+ Assemble and pack parts following routings and BOM instructions
+ Utilize hand and power tools during assembly processes
+ Ensure quality and accuracy in all tasks performed
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and 5S standards
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience with machining and cutting operations preferred.
+ Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred.
+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
+ Ability to read blueprints and understand process plans
+ Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
+ Flexibility to work varying hours as needed
