The Opportunity:

Perform visual inspection of cartons for printing, die-cutting and gluing defects while feeding and packing cartonsReport any issue or event that poses a risk to employee safety, the environment and facilities, or food packaging safety and qualityParticipate in line clearance procedures after each item is completedAccurately count, label, and inventory products they produce and materials coming to their work areaPerform quality checks on the product they produce and materials coming to their machineAssist operators and assistants as neededAssist with make-readiesVerify case countExecute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.Each person, regardless of role or position, is responsible for Food Packaging Safety and Quality and GMPExecute job duties in a safe and efficient mannerWork in other areas as needed, including sorting, and Flat PackingKeep area in specs within all 5S requirementsWork in a fast-paced environment. Complete tasks in a timely mannerFollow all applicable policies, procedures, and instructionsParticipate in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, and trainingPerform other related tasks as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition and subtractionWilling to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods
