Production Support Technician I

Location/Division Specific Information: (Equipment Cleaning/Assembly) St. Louis, MO/ Drug Substance Division (Biologics) Work Schedule 12-hour shift working the 2-2-3 rotating schedule Day Shift is 6:00am to 6:30pm How Will You Make an Impact? The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing primary, secondary, and ancillary equipment using industrial washers and Clean out of Place stations. Responsibilities additionally include assembling manufacturing tanks, vessels, and line assemblies to support the manufacture of commercial and clinical biologics. Additional activities consist of, but are not limited to, the formulation of cleaning solutions, visual inspections of equipment, and the operation of autoclaves in compliance with standard cGMP practices including documentation. A Day in the Life: • Able to complete all Department functions in accordance with site SOPs and policies • Documentation of all activities to meet cGMP requirements • Complete preventative maintenance tasks on time • Perform timely consumption of materials • Aid in investigations/root cause analysis, and provide input on major/critical deviations • Participate in shift exchanges, 1-1’s, meetings, and site meetings • Practices and promotes safe Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Required: No previous work experience required Preferred: Previous work experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Knowledge of cGMP practices, aseptic techniques, or chemical concepts- preferred • Attention to detail • Efficient in MS Office • Able to read, write, and communicate in English • Able to work in an environment of change independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements / Work Environment • Be willing to wear a full gowning suit which includes bodysuit, gloves, hair & beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses.
