**Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for a **Production Support Specialist** to join the **Shipside Support** **Team** based in **Portland, Oregon** .
Our team is currently hiring for either an Associate or Experienced level Production Support Specialist.
This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that works together to meet our customers' needs with quality, speed, and efficiency. As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the Line Side Control Center teams.
**Position Responsibilities for a Level 2:**
+ Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations
+ Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
+ Provides limited feedback on assessment results
+ Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans
+ Works under general supervision
**Position Responsibilities for a Level 3:**
+ Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
+ Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
+ Provides expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues
+ Utilizes tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues
+ Facilitates ongoing coordination and tracking of open items
+ Analyzes and interprets data
+ Provides feedback on assessment results
+ Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues
+ Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues
+ Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates
+ Works under general direction
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 1+ years of experience in manufacturing
+ 1+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
+ 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
+ Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
**Typical Education / Experience**
+ Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Shift:**
This role is primarily second shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

**Summary pay range: Level 2 – $78,300 - $95,700**
**Summary pay range: Level 3 - $92,700 - $113,300**
