Production Supervisor
**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and ensure the efficiency and quality of our production processes, particularly in an injection molding plastic environment. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage the daily operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and foster a productive team environment. **Responsibilities** + Ensure machine setup meets production and quality goals. + Determine actual machines and locations for work assignments. + Maintain a steady flow and process of work. + Interface with Quality, Engineering, Payroll, Human Resources, and Management. + Assign daily duties for the entire department. + Train and supervise all operators in the correct and safe use of equipment. + Train new employees in inspection procedures and work instructions. + Ensure Production Leads adhere to their responsibilities. + Reinforce compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies. + Ensure employees use or wear required protective devices or clothing. + Ensure adherence to quality standards and perform inspections. + Complete all paperwork and data entry accurately and on time. + Organize employees to ensure maximum efficiency. + Report any damage to machines or tooling immediately. + Meet all schedules and deadlines. + Deliver finished products to the next operation or drop-off zone. + Continuously look for ways to improve production, quality, and safety. + Maintain proper housekeeping standards. + Facilitate communication between the company and employees. + Assess and develop employees' skills for job performance. + Provide coaching, counseling, and execute progressive discipline as necessary. + Support management decisions and employ diplomacy in directing employees. + Maximize and maintain plant throughput using NBS tools. + Comply with EHS Standard policies and procedures. + Manage all KPIs for Production. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager. **Essential Skills** + 5-7 years of previous supervisory experience. + Experience in production supervision, particularly in an injection molding plastic environment. + Ability to read and interpret dimensional and weld prints. + Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with employees and management. + Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills. + Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to train, motivate, coach, and counsel others. + Ability to provide and receive positive criticism. + Ownership and accountability for department responsibilities. + Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. + Creative thinking and ability to think outside the box. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and innovative company where your expertise in production supervision will be valued and developed.
