Production Supervisor in Smyrna, TN

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Supervisors for night shifts to oversee machine operators in our dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves directing and developing team leaders and operators, driving production numbers, maintaining safety protocols, tracking KPIs, monitoring scrap, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. This position is based in an injection mold facility, where you will work around presses and assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

Supervise machine operators during day and night shifts.Direct and develop team leaders and operators.Drive production numbers to meet targets.Maintain safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance measurement.Monitor scrap levels and implement reduction strategies.Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Essential Skills

Experience in continuous improvement processes.Familiarity with injection molding and automotive manufacturing.Proven track record as a Production Supervisor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in production scheduling and working in a manufacturing environment.Experience in plastic manufacturing is advantageous.Previous supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing is ideal.
