Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to supervise employees in various areas of our plant. The role involves managing a team of 50-90 employees, ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks, and enforcing adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and tasks within the assigned department.Supervise a team of 50-90 UAW employees, ensuring compliance with company policies.Hold team members accountable for their performance and adherence to procedures.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

Essential Skills

Previous supervision experience, ideally in a union environment.Experience working within the automotive industry, preferably with an OEM or tier 1 supplier.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Basic computer literacy, especially proficiency in Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of supervisory experience in an automotive facility.Strong soft skills and resilience in handling challenging situations.

Work Environment

The role requires flexibility with hours and shifts, with some employees working 60-70 hours per week. The environment is fast-paced, demanding quick decision-making. Business casual attire is expected, and the position operates on a swing shift, rotating every three months

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
