Join a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing industrial packaging, specializing in custom crates and corrugated boxing. As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a team to ensure efficient production and maintain high-quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise production employees, manage scheduling, and oversee plant opening and closing.Train staff on ISO standards, safety, WHMIS, and equipment operation.Support hiring, performance management, and development of employee skills.Coordinate daily production activities, assign tasks, and ensure work orders are completed on time.Maintain product quality to company, customer, and ISO standards; conduct inspections with engineering.Monitor efficiency, verify time sheets, and ensure compliance with safety and labor regulations.Assist with production planning, scheduling, budgeting, and capital project input.Manage warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and delivery truck utilization.Work with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to resolve technical or operational issues.Review and interpret production documents, work orders, and reports to maintain workflow.Support creation, review, and modification of production documentation and drawings.Maintain a strong understanding of equipment, process capabilities, and safe operation.Essential Skills2 – 3 years’ experience as a supervisor, preferably in a unionized, manufacturing environment.Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings/documents.Experience working with steel, wood, corrugate, foam, and/or other traded materials.Experience employing and enforcing the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a bright, clean manufacturing shop with a small but growing team of 18 assemblers. The facility hosts engineering and sales teams on-site. Enjoy a relaxed work environment with a dedicated afternoon shift from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. Office conditions are standard, but travel and evening work may be required. The plant conditions include noise levels above 90 dB, temperatures ranging from 5–34 Celsius, and some dust. Personal Protection Equipment is provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
