We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing plant production activities. This role involves ensuring the conformity of raw materials, maintaining equipment, ensuring fire safety, and managing a healthy work environment for staff.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise plant production activities to ensure efficiency and safety.Verify the conformity of raw materials prior to their use in production.Analyze and complete various production reports.Ensure equipment is adequately used and maintained by operators.Oversee fire safety measures during production.Maintain healthy management of personnel under supervision.Essential SkillsAt least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in production management and continuous process improvement.Strong supervisory and management skills.Knowledge of Dayforce and other computer scheduling and reporting tools within a Windows environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with loaders and forklifts.Ability to supervise a team of 15-30 individuals.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Join a dynamic work environment at a facility that operates as both a peat moss harvesting site and processing plant. Oversee a team of over 30 production team members in a 24/7 operation during peak seasons, with four shifts running in the summer. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate after 8 hours. Report directly to the Production Manager and oversee Team Leaders.
