Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

This role involves supervising operations in an automotive manufacturing facility equipped with CNC machines. The primary responsibilities include managing a team and ensuring production goals are met during the 3rd shift.

ResponsibilitiesManage a team of 15 individuals.Serve as the main point of contact for all facility matters during the 3rd shift.Ensure production goals of 400-500 parts per shift are consistently achieved.Monitor and enforce production schedules, team rules, responsibilities, and attendance.Spend 85% of the time on the floor to support the team.Communicate with other leadership members about events from previous shifts.Essential SkillsSupervisionProduction supervisionSupervisory skills5 years of manufacturing supervision experienceCommunication skillsProduction managementLean manufacturingAdditional Skills & Qualifications3-5 years previous manufacturing supervision experience, ideally as a production supervisorExperience in the automotive industry or CNC environmentExperience creating reports via computerContinuous education (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Associate's or Bachelor's degree)

Work Environment

The role is based in a CNC job shop, operating during the 3rd shift from 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with expectations to work between 55 to 70 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
