**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team in manufacturing ammunition for the military as a Production Supervisor overseeing approximately 25 employees within an assembly/operating capacity. This role involves managing hours reporting, scheduling, interviewing, performance feedback, and safety meetings, requiring proficiency in computer skills and data entry. **Responsibilities** + Supervise and lead a team of approximately 25 employees in assembly and operational tasks. + Manage scheduling and hours reporting for team members. + Conduct interviews and provide performance feedback. + Organize and lead safety meetings to ensure compliance with safety standards. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply lean manufacturing principles. + Implement process improvements utilizing Six Sigma methodologies. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience as a production supervisor or lead. + Proficiency in supervision, safety, and production management. + Expertise in assembly processes and continuous improvement. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. + Strong computer skills and data entry capabilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Technical degree is required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a direct hire opportunity with a laid-back, family-like team environment. The 1st Shift operates from 6am to 4pm (Monday to Thursday), while the 2nd shift runs from 4pm to 2am (Monday to Thursday). Hours are kept between 40-50 hours a week, with flexibility for additional hours before shifts or on Fridays. The environment is organized, ensuring employees leave work without being dirty. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
