Job Description
As a Production Supervisor, you will supervise the mold and bond area, mainly focusing on machinery that includes presses. You will oversee 25-40 employees, ensuring effective operations and process improvements. Your role will involve writing daily shift reports, being hands-on in training team members, and acting as the first line of maintenance before involving the maintenance team. You will also be responsible for implementing continuous improvement practices and tracking production metrics to reduce downtime and scrap.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise the mold and bond area, focusing on press machinery.Oversee 25-40 employees, ensuring smooth operations and process improvements.Write daily shift reports detailing production and operational activities.Engage hands-on in training team members in deflashing, inspection, and machine operation.Act as the first line of maintenance, diagnosing machine issues before involving the maintenance team.Implement and oversee process improvement initiatives, including 5S practices.Track production metrics to minimize downtime and scrap.Assist in training and developing employees.Manage timecards and attendance tracking.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data input.Experience in process improvement, implementation, or 5S practices.Experience leading or supervising a team of 20+ individuals.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
