**Production Supervisor** 📍 Location: Elgin, Illinois 🕒 Shifts Available: + **1st Shift** : 5:30 AM – 4:30 PM + **2nd Shift** : 4:00 PM – 3:00 AM + Job Type: Permanent **Job Description** As a Production Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind operational excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Your leadership will shape team performance, optimize production processes, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. From coaching and training to troubleshooting and reporting, you'll ensure every shift runs smoothly and efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Lead production teams by setting clear expectations and providing consistent feedback + Recruit, onboard, and train employees while promoting growth and development + Monitor production flow and optimize use of personnel and equipment + Implement cost-saving strategies and corrective actions to improve efficiency + Execute production schedules, assign tasks, and resolve operational issues + Enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies + Coordinate equipment repairs and evaluate new technologies for process improvement + Analyze production data to generate insights and respond to stakeholder inquiries + Maintain a safe, clean work environment and educate staff on safety protocols + Investigate personnel concerns and recommend effective solutions + Collaborate across departments to support broader company initiatives **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of supervisory experience in a GMP-regulated environment + Fluent in Spanish (preferred) + Strong leadership and team management abilities + Mechanical aptitude, especially with mixers and blenders + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Keen eye for detail and ability to identify product defects **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in food manufacturing and handling raw ingredients + Experience in food safety or quality control + Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA, and USDA standards + Familiarity with quality control testing and inspection equipment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Why Work Here?** Be part of a forward-thinking company known for its innovative approach and agile operations.
