Production Supervisor
**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our plastic manufacturing facility. This role involves managing production teams, ensuring efficient and timely production, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This supervisor needs to have a presence on the floor. **Responsibilities** + Supervise and coordinate production activities, including molding, extrusion, and assembly processes. + Plan and organize production schedules, assigning tasks and priorities to production teams. + Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. + Train and mentor production staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed. + Ensure compliance with production schedules, deadlines, and quality standards. + Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. + Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. + Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. + Conduct regular inspections of production areas and equipment to identify maintenance needs. + Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams. + Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve production-related issues and implement process improvements. + Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. + Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation. + Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance metrics to production teams. + Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff. **Essential Skills** + Production + Supervision + Assembly + Production supervision + Production management + Continuous improvement + Safety + Supervisory skills + Process improvement **Why Work Here?** Join a company in an exciting growth phase, offering a 9% Employee Match 401k and three full weeks of time off/vacation accrued throughout the year. **Work Environment** This position is based in a clean and organized manufacturing facility. While the supervisor will complete administrative work and reports in the office area, they are also expected to be present on the production floor daily to interact with the production staff. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of New Castle, Delaware. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr. - Amazing 401(k) program. Company will match contributions up to 9%.
