**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** Oversee production and packaging on production lines to ensure compliance with company and USDA requirements. Lead, train, and develop team members while managing employee performance, skills development, and conducting performance appraisals. Administer disciplinary actions when necessary and ensure safety, housekeeping, policy administration, employee relations, cost control, and problem-solving are effectively managed. **Responsibilities** + Interview and hire qualified employees. + Adjust daily work schedule to meet production requirements. + Collaborate with USDA representative to ensure food safety compliance. + Review and sign off on Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation. + Monitor product quality, usage, waste, product counts, and weights. + Demonstrate KPI measures and assure performance and attainment. + Prepare and review operational reports for accuracy and timely distribution. + Ensure constant improvement in product quality, cost reduction, and adherence to good manufacturing practices. + Participate in and support Global Manufacturing Food Safety Initiative programs. **Essential Skills** + Supervision + Production management + Training and development + Assembly + Safety management + Continuous improvement + Lean manufacturing + Process improvement + Strong supervisory skills + Operation management **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred. + Minimum of 4 years related work experience in food or manufacturing industry, with 2 years in supervision. + Intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production. + Effective supervision of line employees. + Strong communication and reasoning skills. + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. + Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values continuous improvement and quality products. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
