Production Supervisor
Job Summary: The Production Supervisor will assist in maintaining and overseeing operational activities of all assembly lines. This position ensures steady production of high quality products, while maintaining a high safety, quality and efficiency consciousness. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Salary Range: $70k- $90k Primary Responsibilities: • Ability to assist in overseeing implementation of manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure continuous flow of high-quality products • Directly coordinate with safety department to ensure compliance with all programs and maintain a safe working environment • Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement making data driven decisions • Assist Operations Manager in day-to-day production activities and training of newly hired employees • Responsible for maintaining and updating the close of business production report daily and other reporting as needed • Direct and coordinate production according to safety, quality and quantity specifications within cost objectives • Apply high quality manufacturing principles, organization structure, leadership, sourcing, integration of production systems, and techniques for improved efficiencies and adherence to best practice • Provide strong leadership to the employees ensuring high morale, teamwork, and good employee relations, at all levels • Responsible for team member coaching and development, employment decisions and resolving issues through conflict resolution • Maintain a high-quality consciousness • Ensuring “Management by Objectives" process systematically applied within the Manufacturing & Assembly plant • Ensuring compliance with all group systems, guidelines, and policies • Supervise and provide technical guidance to subordinates • Any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager Job Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Must possess a minimum of 3+ years of direct experience in supervising in an assembly production environment • Act as a champion for lean six sigma and continuous improvement projects and directives • Ability to work under strict timelines • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong organizational planning and time management skills • Ability to work with coworkers of all levels across the company • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) • Must be capable of lifting and transferring materials weighing up to 75 lbs. **Note**: Due to US Export Control laws and regulations; applicants selected for employment must show proof of a U.S. Person status before employment may begin.
