About the Role:

As Production Supervisor, reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee all manufacturing operations in a one-shift manufacturing plant.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

Delegate tasks while addressing quality issues Ensure employees follow all appropriate safety procedures  Create and maintain production schedules Ensure output meets quality standards Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines Drive continuous process improvement to increase safety, quality and operations performance through implementation of Lean Principles Manage operations supervisors to ensure KPI metric boards are maintained. Responsible for coaching and development of the operations leadership team

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in Production Supervisor/Team Lead role Metal fabrication manufacturing experience a must.   Experience with the following equipment:  welding, laser cutting, and punch presses. Some experience with low volume/made-to-order production preferred Strong decision-making skills Lean manufacturing experience Proficient using MS software Experience with ERP software Strong oral and written communication skills
