Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift, responsible for overseeing the efficient management of production operations from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. This role focuses on maintaining consistent output and ensuring quality standards across SMT and THT production lines.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations across SMT and THT production lines to maintain consistent output.Ensure all assemblies meet IPC standards and required certifications, including AS9100 and ISO.Develop technicians and operators through coaching, training, and performance support.Oversee staffing, attendance, and labor allocation to align with production goals.Troubleshoot equipment issues and remove process inefficiencies.Collaborate with engineering on new product launches, process updates, and BOM revisions.Support procurement and maintenance by sourcing components and coordinating vendor timelines.Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and reconciliation.Partner with QA and warehouse teams to resolve material issues and nonconforming components.Forecast material needs and coordinate supplier deliveries to prevent shortages.Drive cost reduction efforts through process improvements and supplier collaboration.Adjust production and purchasing priorities as operational demands shift.Contribute to improving supply chain procedures and documentation.

Essential Skills

5+ years of operation supervision experience in manufacturing.Experience in controlled industries such as electronics, aerospace, or defense.Proficiency in improving processes and meeting deadlines.Knowledge of IPC standards and certifications.Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with PCB, machine operation, wave solder, circuit board, AOI, and pick-and-place.Familiarity with aerospace defense, Six Sigma, production management, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in SMT and PCBA production.IPC certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
