Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift
**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** As a Packaging Department Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process and managing employees during your assigned shift. This hands-on position involves actively engaging in daily production activities to ensure that production results meet customer demands. **Responsibilities** + Oversee 10-14 production associates at a time. + Set up and operate various machines in the department. + Schedule and assign personnel, establish priorities, communicate job expectations, and plan, monitor, and evaluate job performance. + Perform slight troubleshooting of equipment. + Manually clean machines during product changeovers. + Lift up to 50-pound bags of raw materials into hoppers. + Train and assist operators in running various machines. + Learn and adhere to proper GMP requirements and chemical safety practices. + Take and verify documentation of production runs. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of Supervisory experience. + 4+ years of general production experience. + 2+ years of GMP experience. + Ability to oversee 10-14 people. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Knowledge of sanitation, mixing/blending, and production supervision. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Leadership qualities. + Experience in mixing/blending of powders or liquids. + Mentoring employees and directing work assignments through effective communication. + Experience with safely handling chemicals used for sanitation. + Ability to read and write in English. + Basic mechanical aptitude. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a competitive 9% company match 401K, 12 paid holidays, and 2 weeks of wellness time. Employees are required to follow GMP guidelines, including wearing a hair net, beard net, smock, steel toes, gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses. The environment is clean, climate-controlled, and low-key, with no strong smells and a moderate pace.
