Production Scheduler

Description

The Production Scheduler is directly responsible for overseeing scheduling, processing, testing, administrative, and/or other production-related processes to facilitate the company On Time Delivery Goal. These Production Schedules will be based on Customer due dates and based on our date change rules.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintaining Company On Time Delivery by working with individual team members regarding scheduling and personnel needs

- Communicating with internal and external customers, and production administrative staff to monitor the status of customer orders, and to facilitate changes as needed

- Serves as the primary contact to customers via phone and email to communicate shipping schedules

- Work with Operations team on Recognizing and removing bottlenecks by re-allocating any and all required resources as necessary to meet corporate objectives

- Working and communicating effectively with the Plant Manager regarding equipment and maintenance needs, and to provide a neat, clean, and organized production environment

- Takes initiative to develop and apply professional knowledge and skills in order to improve organizational performance

- Participates in daily production meeting; Responsible for gathering and inputting all relevant information with regard to schedules and shipments

- Performs other related duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

- Microsoft Excel (Expert Level) - Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOK UP

- Prior ERP experience

- Prior experience as production planner or production scheduler

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
