Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project/Production Manager to lead the production, fielding, and ongoing support of our cutting-edge directed energy system, ZEUS, and the Missile Plum Simulator (MPS) systems. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in the defense and advanced technology sectors. The Project Manager will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and customer support teams to ensure successful delivery and lifecycle management of these systems.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Fielding:

Oversee the production process for ZEUS and MPS, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize production workflows.Manage the fielding of systems, including logistics, installation, and integration with customer environments.

Continued Support:

Develop and implement support strategies for deployed systems, including maintenance schedules, troubleshooting protocols, and upgrades.Collaborate with customer support teams to address operational issues and ensure high system availability.Monitor system performance and gather feedback to inform future improvements.

Project Management:

Create and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers, providing regular updates on project progress.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and meeting records.

Team Leadership:

Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in defense, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors.Strong understanding of directed energy systems, missile simulation technologies, or related fields.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Preferred:

Experience with government contracts, defense systems, or military applications.Familiarity with systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
