Production Planning Analyst
Job Title: Production Planning AnalystJob Description

As a Production Planning Analyst, you will ensure that production orders are scheduled accurately based on demand, stock levels, and available production capacity. You will be responsible for tracking work-in-progress (WIP) and providing status updates. Additionally, you will initiate escalation processes for slow-moving WIP and production disruptions. You will also collaborate with customer service to ensure on-time delivery and manage special customer requests effectively.

ResponsibilitiesSchedule production orders according to demand, stock levels, and production capacity.Track WIP and provide timely status updates.Initiate escalation processes for production disruptions such as defective machinery or raw material shortages.Consult with customer service to address potential delivery delays.Manage raw material purchase orders based on MRP requirements and available capacity in SAP.Avoid downtime due to missing raw materials while meeting inventory targets.Prepare and analyze KPIs and reports, defining and implementing actions following the PDCA loop.Participate actively in meetings, including daily LPMS, weekly TOP4, and KPI reviews.Optimize product flow and participate in lean activities.Ensure proper documentation is maintained.Essential SkillsExperience with Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups; formulas are a plus.3+ years of planning experience, or a college degree in business or supply chain.Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally SAP, but open to others.Manufacturing experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsOpen to various industries.Knowledge of ITAR compliance.Work Environment

This position is 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times between 7-8 am. You will join a team consisting of another planner, a buyer, and a shipping coordinator. Occasional overtime may be required, though no Saturday work is anticipated. The work setting is in a manufacturing environment with a smaller, older office on a production floor, reflecting an industrial atmosphere. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
