We are seeking a Production Planner to create and update production schedules based on customer orders and available capacity. The role involves coordinating with production teams to manage priorities and timelines, receiving incoming materials, verifying accuracy, and maintaining inventory count. The ideal candidate will track the progress of incoming materials and communicate updates between departments while identifying opportunities to improve scheduling, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and update production schedules based on customer orders and available capacity.Coordinate with production teams to manage priorities and timelines.Receive incoming materials, verify their accuracy, and maintain inventory count.Track progress of incoming materials and communicate updates between departments.Identify opportunities to improve scheduling, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency.Essential SkillsProduction planning experience.Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.Strong organizational and communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.2-5 years of experience in production planning and scheduling.Experience with lean manufacturing or process improvement methods (preferred).Familiarity with warranty or after-sales coordination (preferred).Work EnvironmentThis role is within a small team environment where there are approximately 5 people on the operations team, contributing to an engineering and small lab environment to build complex communication systems. The position requires onsite work full-time, although flexible hours are available to start or finish work. Employees enjoy paid holidays, including a company-wide shutdown during the last week of the year.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.66 - $38.47/hr.
