Grab this opportunity to work with one of our client for a **Production operator** position with pay range started from **$18/HR** to **$20/HR** where you will get the room to grow and make your perfect career **Job Description** As a Production Operator, you will work on the production floor, primarily standing for over nine hours a day. Initially, you will assist with machine operations, collecting cardboard from the end of a fast-paced machine that produces up to 400 boxes per minute. You will need to work swiftly, inspecting boxes using a tape measure, and lend a hand in various areas. During slower periods, you are expected to stay motivated and find tasks, such as sweeping, to maintain productivity. **Responsibilities** + Assist with machine operations by collecting and inspecting cardboard boxes. + Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, grabbing stacks of boxes as they are produced. + Inspect boxes using a tape measure to ensure quality. + Maintain productivity by finding additional tasks during slow periods. + Work in the baler room, collecting excess materials from each station and placing them in the baler. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of experience in production or manufacturing. + Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure to the 1/8 of an inch. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience running gluer machines is a plus. **Why Work Here** Candidates hired into full-time positions are eligible for a $1-$2 raise, fostering growth and development within the company. Starting pay is at $18/hr. **Work Environment** This position is for the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm. The facility is not climate-controlled but maintains a comfortable temperature during winter and may get warm during summer due to machinery. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledonia, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
