Urgently Hiring Production Operator for Fermentation!

Pay: $23.50 Location: Belvidere, NJ Shift: Rotating 12 hour shifts, night & days (1 full week off every month)

Job Description

In this entry-level role, you will be supported by your team to grow into a Production Operator and eventually a Senior Production Operator. Your role will directly impact the quality of our products, which help improve real lives. You will be responsible for manually dividing products into bags by hand scooping raw materials into them. This involves reading and filling out a batch record, weighing materials on a scale, and boxing them. The product, used in baby food, is a harmless powder.

Work Environment

Work in a multi-plant site operating various technologies including fermentation house, spray drying and chilling processes, beadleting processes, and vitamin granulations. The environment is designed to support efficient production while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Retirement Savings: In addition to the above, you have the opportunity to participate in the 401(k) retirement plan. dsm-firmenich contributes an amount equal to 4% of your total eligible pay to your 401(k) plan, regardless of whether you participate. If you contribute to the plan, the company will also match 100% of the first 4% of total eligible pay that you contribute. The company will automatically enroll you in the plan at 4% of pay which will be deducted and contributed toward the plan unless you decline or make another election. You will receive a welcome package from the 401(k) vendor soon after joining the company. Your pay and contributions are subject to plan and IRS limits as outlined in the Summary Plan Description.

Paid Time Off: Your Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues on a pay period basis, with a maximum of 18 days per year, for the first five years of employment. Thereafter, your accrual rate increases based on your service in accordance with the PTO policy. Please see attached policy document for further details.
