Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator, where you will play a vital role on the production floor. Initially, you will start as a machine assistant, assisting with the collection of cardboard at the end of high-speed machines that produce up to 400 boxes per minute. This role requires standing for over 9 hours a day, working at a fast pace, constantly moving and lifting. You will also inspect boxes using a tape measure and assist in various areas as needed. During slower periods, proactivity is encouraged to maintain a productive environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with machine operations by collecting cardboard at the end of the production line.Inspect boxes using a tape measure for quality assurance.Work at a fast pace, constantly moving and lifting.Help in different areas of the production floor as needed.Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and performing other tasks during slower periods.Work in the baler room to collect and manage excess materials.Essential Skills
2 years of experience in production or machine operation.Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/8 of an inch.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work the 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am in a relatively clean facility. While not climate-controlled, the environment remains comfortable in winter and slightly warm in summer. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
