Production Operator
**Job Title: Production Operator** Job Description We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Operators in the 700 building, focusing on the manufacturing of magnet wire products. This role involves overseeing the entire production process, from handling raw materials to packaging finished products. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless operation of automated machinery while maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities + Handle raw materials to prepare for production. + Load the production line by feeding raw wire as required. + Understand specification sheets to set machines when needed. + Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues while monitoring quality via the HMI touchscreen. + Pull and document in-process enamel samples by hand. + Use overhead cranes to move finished spools of wire. + Operate forklifts to store finished products in the warehouse. + Maintain attention to detail and cleanliness in a near clean-room environment. Essential Skills + General labor and production experience. + Ability to operate a tape measure, forklift, and hand tools. + Experience with machine operation, quality inspection, and assembly. + Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English. + Capability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction is beneficial. + Willingness to be trained on a forklift. + Strong tenure at previous employers. + Ability to work 12-hour shifts and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
