Cell Operators will be stationed at their designated \"Cell\" and tasked with taking rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process involves preparing, molding, cooling, inspecting, and packaging automotive rubber products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare molding tools by filling them with metal rings.Flip the tool onto the machine for molding and prepare the next tool.Remove the molded tool from the machine, cool the product with an air brush.Flip the tool to release finished rubber products onto a workstation.Conduct visual inspections of products for defects such as air bubbles or rips.Weigh and count inspected products, ensuring correct quantity for packaging.Maintain shift logs documenting operator details, maintenance performed, scrap tracking, production goals, machine temperature, and product specifications.
Essential SkillsAbility to lift 35lbs up to 30 times per hour.Ability to stand for the entire shift.Attention to detail for quality inspections.Ability to read and understand English.Commitment to safety standards, utilizing provided PPE.
Additional Skills & QualificationsNo more than two job changes in the last six months.Strong communication skills.Enthusiastic attitude towards the role.

Work Environment
Operators work in shifts, with consistent hours once assigned. The facility is climate-controlled, allowing drinks with caps on the floor. PPE includes gloves, safety glasses, and Kevlar sleeves, with no hearing protection needed. Operators are not allowed to smoke or use tobacco products on the property. Breaks are provided during shifts, and employees are paid for the entirety of their work hours, including breaks.
