Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves working with hand and power tools, such as drills and rivet guns, to perform assembly and manufacturing tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with measurement tape and mechanical tools, and be comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand and power tools to execute assembly tasks.Measure and select appropriate sized materials required for projects.Perform mechanical assembly and cutting tasks using tools like punch press and calipers.Handle sheet metal and perform crating and riveting duties.Follow work orders and blueprints to ensure accurate production.Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with mechanical tools and assembly processes.Experience working with sheet metal, construction, or similar fields.Ability to quickly learn to use rivets and other tools.Competence in using tape measures and other measurement tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.Comfortable working with loud machinery and in non-climate controlled environments.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing warehouse focused on sheet metal production. Be prepared for a non-climate controlled environment with loud machinery. The role requires standing on a cement floor for most of the shift, and occasionally working outside based on job requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
