Production Operator
**Job Title: Production Operator** Job Description Join our team as a Production Worker in the state-of-the-art 700 Building, where you will oversee the complete manufacturing process of magnet wire products. This role involves hands-on material handling, machine operation, quality checking, and using forklifts and overhead cranes to manage products throughout the facility. Responsibilities + Handle raw materials to prepare for production. + Load raw wire into the production line as required. + Read specification sheets to set machines. + Operate and troubleshoot basic machine issues, using HMI touchscreen for quality checks. + Pull in-process enamel samples and document updates manually. + Use overhead cranes to move finished spools of wire. + Operate forklifts to store finished products in the warehouse. Essential Skills Client + Ability to work safely and independently without constant supervision. + Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. + Willingness to work 12-hour shifts. + Open to training on forklift operation. + Strong tenure at previous employers. + Ability to read, write, and understand English work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction is advantageous. + Good soft skills and a willingness to be trained are essential. + Ability to multitask and maintain a clean facility. Work Environment The 700 Building offers a highly automated, clean, and temperature-controlled environment, resembling a clean room. It demands attention to detail, cleanliness, and self-motivation. The facility operates on a 2/2/3 schedule with shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM or 8 PM to 8 AM. Enjoy paid breaks and a supportive atmosphere focused on safety and precision. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
