**Production Operator**
**Job Description**
A machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. Machine operators will work both individually and as part of a team, delivering consistent work and reporting accurate information on a timely basis. Success in this role requires the ability to produce timely and high-quality output within company quality and production run standards, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in good working condition.
+ Set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
+ Monitor machines during operation to ensure that they are producing products that meet quality standards.
+ Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure quality control standards.
+ Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments to fix any issues that arise during the production process.
+ Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data.
+ Follow safety protocols and adhere to the proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other employees.
+ Consistently meet production requirements.
+ Continuously work in a safe manner and maintain a safe and clean work area.
+ Follow company rules and engage with cross-training and other training requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Production and machine operating skills.
+ Ability to use computers for entering activities in ERP system (simple use).
+ Mechanically inclined.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in setting up and operating production machines.
+ Understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
