Production Operator
**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** As a Production Operator, you will perform final inspections at the end of the machine line to guarantee the quality of brake discs. Your role is critical in identifying any imperfections such as flashes, scratches, dents, or chips in the final product. You will also conduct spot checks using micrometers and calipers to ensure precision. Once inspected, you will prepare the parts for delivery, coordinating with hilo drivers for transportation. **Responsibilities** + Perform final inspections on brake discs for quality assurance. + Identify and document any flashes, scratches, dents, or chips. + Conduct spot checks with micrometers and calipers. + Prepare inspected parts for delivery and coordinate with hilo drivers. + Maintain inspection and loading rate of 25-30 parts per hour. + Adapt to 2nd and 3rd shift operations as required. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a Production or Machine Operator role. + Demonstrated longevity in previous roles. + Shift flexibility for potential schedule changes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred. + Experience with machining, injection molding, and foundry manufacturing is a plus. + 1+ year of experience with blueprint reading. + 1+ year in the automotive industry. + Experience working 2nd or 3rd shifts preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a competitive shift premium on top of your wage in our state-of-the-art facility, opened in 2017. The environment is somewhat dirty, dark, and loud, with heavy lifting required. We prioritize safety and comfort with advanced filtration systems and ventilation fans. This fast-paced setting demands a strong sense of urgency to meet production goals. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $23.13/hr.
