Production Operator
Aerotek
The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring equipment to produce quality products, identifying process issues, mixing raw materials and loading materials into tanks. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and documentation, as well as the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Operates blending, storage tank and packaging equipment to prepare and transfer materials to production.
+ Identifying and reporting equipment or process problems.
+ Handling raw materials, dispensing, weighing, and adding them to mixers.
+ Packaging finished products and performing material handling tasks.
+ Sampling and testing finished and in-process products, inspecting raw materials and finished goods, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
+ Maintaining process and equipment documentation, reviewing batch sheets, and preparing labels.
+ Following safety protocols, reporting safety concerns, and participating in investigations.
**Requirements:**
+ 1-3 years experience working in a production manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Operate equipment and machinery.
+ Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr.
In addition to the above, you have the opportunity to participate in 401(k) retirement plan. Contributes an amount equal to 4% of your total eligible pay to your 401(k) plan, regardless of whether you participate. If you contribute to the plan, will also match 100% of the first 4% of total eligible pay that you contribute. Will automatically enroll you in the plan at 4% of pay which will be deducted and contributed toward the plan unless you decline or make another election. You will receive a welcome package from the 401(k) vendor soon after joining. Your pay and contributions are subject to plan and IRS limits as outlined in the Summary Plan Description.

Your Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues on a pay period basis, with a maximum of 18 days per year, for the first five years of employment. Thereafter, your accrual rate increases based on your service in accordance with the PTO policy. Please see attached policy document for further details.
