**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator, where you will play a crucial role on the production floor. You will start as a machine assistant, standing at the end of a fast-paced machine, collecting cardboard and inspecting boxes using a tape measure. You must be motivated to stay busy during slow periods and willing to assist in different areas, including the baler room. **Responsibilities** + Assist with machine operations and collect cardboard. + Inspect boxes using a tape measure accurately to 1/8 of an inch. + Work in the baler room to collect and process excess materials. + Maintain a fast pace while constantly lifting and moving materials. + Stay productive during slow periods by finding tasks such as sweeping. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year of experience in production or manufacturing. + Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure to the 1/8 of an inch. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience running gluer machines is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the opportunity for a $1-$2 raise once hired in and become part of a team that values growth and development. **Work Environment** The role operates on the 1st shift from 6am-2pm in a relatively clean facility that is not climate controlled. The temperature is comfortable in winter and can be warm in summer due to machinery. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledonia, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
