Join a leading company specializing in 2-Shot and liquid silicone molding as a General Production Worker. We are seeking ambitious individuals to run injection molding machines and ensure the delivery of high-quality plastic solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technologies and be part of a dynamic team.
ResponsibilitiesRun injection molding machines and package products.Label and perform cycle counting of products.Visually inspect and assemble parts to meet quality specifications.Identify and determine the acceptability of parts based on customer specifications.Utilize route sheets and work instructions to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.Remove parts from injection molding machines during gate-tended operations.Perform routine cleaning of machines and work areas.Account for and record production and scrap counts.Essential SkillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficient in English language skills, both spoken and written.Physical ability to stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.Basic math skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious manufacturing experience is a plus but not mandatory.Knowledge of SmartSheet and IQMS is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom setting equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. Be comfortable wearing appropriate attire such as a hair net and beard net if necessary. The role requires flexibility to travel between locations in Somers and Ellington, although you will mainly work at your hired location.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ellington, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
