Production Operator
Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Complete tasks in facility manufacturing rubber lining for tanks and tankers. Oversee various production lines including Grinders, Mixers, Mills, Compounding, Calendars, and Hoists. Document any nonconformances and discarded parts. Follow appropriate mixing schedule and measurements. Utilize scan guns to track material in and out of the facility. Load silos with proper ingredients. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.

ResponsibilitiesComplete tasks in manufacturing rubber lining for tanks and tankers.Oversee production lines including Grinders, Mixers, Mills, Compounding, Calendars, and Hoists.Document any nonconformances and discarded parts.Follow mixing schedules and measurements accurately.Use scan guns to track material in and out of the facility.Load silos with appropriate ingredients.Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.Essential SkillsAbility to work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures.Willingness to work 10-20 hours of overtime per week.Ability to train on day shift before moving to night shift.Experience with production, mixing, compounding, and rubber.Forklift operation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be able to lift 50+lbs throughout the shift.Ability to read measurements and perform basic calculations.Previous mixing/compounding experience is a plus but not required.Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required.Previous ERP experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.53 - $22.03/hr.
