Production Operator
**About the Role:** We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Plant Operator to join our team in the MgO and HPS production facilities. This role is essential to ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of our plant equipment and processes. If you have strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a dynamic industrial environment, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** + Adhere to all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols. + Operate plant equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with SOPs and quality standards. + Perform daily inspections of mobile equipment and complete checklists. + Log production data and material transfers using SAP, Excel, and Word. + Communicate daily activities clearly and promptly, both verbally and in writing. + Monitor and report equipment issues to Maintenance or Supervisors. + Collect and analyze samples to ensure material quality meets specifications. + Operate mobile equipment such as Mack dump trucks, forklifts, Bobcats, and loaders (training provided). + Transfer materials as needed from the Old Sizing Plant. + Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. + Conduct daily and weekly cleanups, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, organized work area. + Participate in cross-training for additional plant operations. **Qualifications:** + Strong mechanical and analytical skills are essential. + Self-motivated with a commitment to safety and quality. + Experience operating trucks and forklifts preferred. + Physically capable of performing job duties, including: + Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing (up to 3–4 stories), and lifting up to 75 lbs. + Working in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, high elevations, confined spaces). + Wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, etc.). **Why Join Us?** + Competitive compensation and benefits + Opportunities for training and advancement + Supportive team environment + Commitment to safety and innovation Apply Today! Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
