Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the paint and coatings industry, is seeking a Production Operator - 5 to join their team. As a Production Operator - 5, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting production, quality assurance, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Production Operator - 5
**Location:** Houston, TX
**Pay Range:**
**Shift:** 3rd shift: Hours of operation are 10pm - 6:30am with OT
**What's the Job?**
+ Execute assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.
+ Operate and maintain production assets safely, following established procedures and industry best practices.
+ Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, and process data collection tasks accurately.
+ Report safety, quality, or process issues promptly to supervisors and contribute to investigations.
+ Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines.
+ Ability to operate a forklift safely and obtain certification.
+ Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
+ Physical ability to lift containers up to 75 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
