Job Title: Machine Operator

Shift:

1st shift 4:00 am - 2:30 pm M-Th

2nd shift 12:00PM - 10:30PM M- Th

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team at a dynamic manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment to blend, mix, package, and transport chemicals, ensuring the production of high-quality products while minimizing costs. This role is essential in meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements, adhering to our established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Set up, start, and run all machinery, ensuring compliance with operating and safety procedures, as well as ISO standards.Weigh ingredients according to recipe specifications and insert them into machinery.Ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and insert pre-blended materials into machinery.Monitor production and equipment for safe and efficient operation, troubleshooting any equipment or processing issues.Operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials following operating procedures.Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.Take samples of materials to the lab for evaluation and instructions on batch adjustments, if necessary.Refer issues or problems to the Production Lead or Production/Shift Supervisor.Perform all required machine cleaning.Complete and maintain all required system inputs and transactions, ensuring data integrity.Document work completed, including logs, data reports, and procedures.

Essential Skills

At least one year of production experience in a manufacturing plant involving mixing, blending, batching, or production of powdered or liquid parts.Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.High school diploma, GED equivalency, or relevant experience.Computer literacy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with GMP, quality control, shipping and receiving, and machine operation.Experience with warehouse operations and SAP.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing setting where employees are frequently exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts. The noise level can be loud. This active position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy items for extended periods. Employees must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 200 lbs with equipment assistance and stand or walk for a 10-hour shift. Clear communication and comprehension skills are essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
