Production Materials Coordinator
**Job Title: Production Materials Coordinator** **Job Description** The Production Materials Coordinator will collaborate with various departments to ensure finished products are organized and transported within the manufacturing space. This role also supports final assembly and packaging tasks as needed. It requires an intermediate-level understanding of manufacturing operations and technical aspects, with limited supervision on routine work and general guidance on new or special assignments. **Responsibilities** + Identify component requirements for production from engineering. + Review work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. + Prepare kits and pallets for final shipment. + Assemble products to completion. + Assist with final packaging. + Track delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment where needed. + Read and interpret assembly blueprints. + Work independently and follow a schedule. + Participate in shop cleanup activities. + Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules. + Ensure quality related to job duties and address quality issues at any level. + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. + Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned. + Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System. + Work with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety employees to ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards. + Comply with environmental and safety policies and regulations, maintaining high-quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in SAP. + Ability to understand assembly blueprints or diagrams. + Mechanical aptitude for physical assembly of parts. + Experience performing assembly operations using drawings, BOMs, and Work Order Travelers. + Proficient use of small hand tools such as needle nose pliers, de-soldering tools, tweezers, brushes, screwdrivers, clippers, and wire strippers. + Basic computer skills. + Good communication skills. + Positive attitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in cycle counts, data entry, inventory management, and shipping and receiving. + Familiarity with manufacturing processes and blueprint interpretation. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic workplace that values collaboration and innovation.
