Our client in Plastic Manufacturing is seeking a Production Material Handler to join their team.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Vadnais Heights, MN

1st Shift- 7am-330pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Range: $20-$22/hr based on experience

 

What’s the Job?

Primary Responsibilities:

· Fulfill material/component orders for production jobs

· Verify materials match job specifications

· Issue raw materials into the ERP system

· Maintain accurate and timely ERP entries

· Complete all documentation in accordance with quality system procedures

· Stay current on quality system updates impacting the role

· Perform cycle counts to ensure part availability and inventory accuracy

· Order necessary manufacturing supplies

· Monitor job progress and performance using system reports

· Conduct regular rounds (every 2 hours) to ensure dryers and hoppers are full and functioning

· Clean equipment following job completion

· Assist with job changeovers as needed

· Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED required; relevant college coursework preferred

· Valid identification and the ability to legally work in the United States

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Basic computer proficiency; experience with Epicor and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus

· Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram-based instructions

· Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks

· Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

· Forklift operation experience preferred

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

· Must be able to safely work with chemicals

· Capable of working flexible hours as needed
