Production Manager
**Job Title: Production Manager** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee and optimize our production processes across the 1st and 2nd shifts. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage production loads, and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality. **Responsibilities** + Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations. + Manage production load and scheduling to meet deadlines while maintaining quality. + Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and minimize waste. + Oversee labor, material, and equipment usage to meet production goals cost-effectively. + Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the team. + Coordinate and expedite manufacturing orders throughout the facility. + Plan for future production needs, including capacity and resource forecasting. + Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance targets and maintain a positive work culture. + Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). + Collaborate with Production Control, Sales, Quality, and other department leaders to set priorities and communicate order status. + Collaborate with Production Department Leads and Engineering to troubleshoot issues and maintain equipment. + Serve as second-in-command to the Plant Manager, escalating issues and supporting plant-wide operations. + Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity within the ERP manufacturing system. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 5 years in production planning and resource management, preferably in CNC machining and contract manufacturing. + Minimum 5 years of experience in people management. + Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. + Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement methodologies. + Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management and organizational skills. + Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred. + Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across sales, engineering, and production teams. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
