A rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer specializing in high‑quality wire harnesses for major industry partners is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a fast‑paced, high‑precision production floor. With a new facility, aggressive hiring plans, and significant expansion underway, this is a ground‑floor leadership opportunity with long‑term growth potential.

Position Overview

The Production Manager will oversee daily production operations, ensuring output, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met. This leader will drive training, process improvement, and team development while maintaining compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards. This is a hands‑on role working directly on the production floor, supporting technicians, and ensuring the production schedule stays on track.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirect, prioritize, and monitor production flow through assembly to meet customer timelines and quality requirements.Ensure efficient and cost‑effective use of personnel, equipment, and materials.Train, onboard, and develop production employees in soldering, crimping, reading schematics, and other electro‑mechanical skills.Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase throughput and reduce defects.Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO13485, and internal quality standards.Conduct regular employee evaluations and provide coaching to improve performance and morale.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues and support expedite requests.Track and report KPIs to upper management; initiate corrective actions when targets are not met.Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies, safety procedures, and production expectations.Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience as a Production Manager overseeing a production line (Aerospace or Medical preferred).Experience working in AS9100 or ISO13485 regulated environments.Experience in electro‑mechanical manufacturing.Strong training and onboarding experience; ability to get new hires up to speed quickly.Demonstrated success in process improvement and production optimization.Proficient with ERP/CRM systems and general office software.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and work instructions.High level of professionalism, problem‑solving ability, and team collaboration.Diploma/GED required.Preferred Qualifications7–10 years of experience in Aerospace or Medical manufacturing.3–5 years managing teams of 5+ employees.IPC‑610/620 certification (preferred but not required).Bilingual (English + another language) is a plus.Why Join Us?Be part of a high‑growth aerospace company expanding by 40–50 employees this year.Work in a brand‑new facility with modern equipment and a strong focus on quality.Play a critical role in shaping processes, culture, and team performance.Clear advancement opportunities as the organization continues to scale.Hands‑on leadership role with direct impact on production success.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Will get upon request\nWill receive PTO and bonus based on company performance.
