Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our daily production operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate production schedules, ensure quality standards, and drive process improvements while maintaining an inclusive team environment.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and manage daily production schedules to meet quality and delivery targets.
+ Monitor workflows to ensure maximum efficiency without compromising quality.
+ Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain seamless operations.
+ Maintain high standards of precision and craftsmanship across all production processes.
+ Proactively address potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
+ Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
+ Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
+ Mentor and develop team members, emphasizing personal growth and skill enhancement.
+ Foster open communication and empower employees to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Drive lean manufacturing principles and implement innovative production strategies.
+ Evaluate and enhance current processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new methods and technologies.
+ Handle unexpected challenges, such as equipment failures or material shortages, with composure and clear strategy.
+ Maintain team morale and focus under tight deadlines or high-pressure situations.
+ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor efficiency, on-time delivery, and rework rates.
+ Utilize data-driven insights to optimize production processes and report on progress to management.
Essential Skills
+ 5–7 years of experience in production or operations leadership, preferably in custom manufacturing environments.
+ Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex workflows.
+ Strong knowledge of welding (MIG/TIG), electrical sub-assemblies, and equipment troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement frameworks.
+ Educated in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to inspire and guide diverse teams while maintaining accountability.
+ Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience leading a weld shop, machine shop, or electrical assembly preferred.
+ UL12 Certification.
+ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
+ Understanding of welding symbols, pressure vessels, die penetration, and press brake operations.

Work Environment
Work in an industrial setting that operates both indoors and outdoors. The position follows a Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM shift schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fayetteville, Georgia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
