\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nAssist maintenance team and support all aspects of the maintenance department as needed or directed.\nOperates production equipment as assigned.\nAdheres to schedules and production requirements to produce product on assigned machine.\nTroubleshoots and repairs various pieces of equipment.\nPerforms preventive maintenance tasks ranging from lubricating wear points to changing out blades.\nTears down and reassembles equipment in support of our food safety initiatives.\nSupports and provides training to other IMTMOs and Production Associates in the proper running and completion of preventive maintenance tasks.\nActs in a manner that is consistent with Butterball’s core values. Must be able to work in both teams and on an individual basis in performing this role. Must be self-directed and focused on utilizing time efficiently.\nUtilizes and adheres to various company policies to include safety and food safety regulations.\nAccurately tracks work assignments (time), accounts for parts and completes required paperwork.\nResponsible for performing all duties as assigned by management.\nRegular attendance is an essential function of the position.\n\nMinimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)
\n\nGeneral industrial mechanical maintenance and/or electrical system experience preferred\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\nCertificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.\n\nEssential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, an IMTMO is frequently required to stand, walk, have hands/finger dexterity, reach with hands/arms, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb, speak and hear. \nThe IMT is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\n\nWorking Conditions & Travel Requirements
\n\nWork is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities. \nWork assignments may range across the entirety of the plant complex, including non-refrigerated and refrigerated areas, with temperatures that range from -20 degrees Fahrenheit to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit.\nPosition requires working around processing plant equipment. \nMust wear the required PPE to include steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hardhat, safety vest, gloves, and hearing protection.\nThe noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.\nMay work with raw and/or cooked meat.\n\nDisclaimer
