**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to efficiently operate production and test equipment, ensuring high-quality product output while adhering to safety policies. The role involves maintaining accurate records, performing tests and measurements, and engaging with quality assurance teams to uphold product standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate production and test equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
+ Monitor production area and recommend necessary improvements.
+ Adhere to safety policies and practices within the company.
+ Maintain accurate records of production and equipment operations.
+ Conduct tests and measurements on parts to ensure quality.
+ Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure product standards are met.
+ Assist in the transportation and exchange of materials, supplies, and parts.
+ Inspect production equipment daily to ensure proper functionality.
+ Participate actively in corporate values and comply with management systems.
+ Handle and safely transport hazardous materials and gas cylinders.
+ Operate basic hand and power tools efficiently.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with machine operation, specifically injection molding, stamping, and assembly.
+ Knowledge of quality control and production processes.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and operate machinery effectively.
+ Proficiency in using computers and touch screen devices.
+ Familiarity with the metric system.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in production or related fields is preferred.

**Work Environment**
Work in a very clean and automated production facility, with stamping and molding tasks being more independent, while plating and assembly require teamwork.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.17/hr.
